Assistant Director, Behavioural Insights Unit, Australian Taxation Office
Catherine Griffin is an Assistant Director of the Australian Taxation Office’s (ATO) dedicated Behavioural Insights Unit. In the two years since being established, the BI Unit has contributed significantly to an improved client and staff experience.
The BI Unit has applied behavioural insights principles to over 180 activities within the ATO, and has trained 20% of the workforce in the application of these principles across all levels of learning and development products and workshops, and proactively shared their approach with colleagues across government through one-on-one meetings and a cross-agency behavioural insights showcases.
