Chief Behavioural Scientist at Behaviour Innovation
John Pickering is the Chief Behavioural Scientist at Behaviour Innovation. His work focuses on the design, delivery and evaluation of behaviour change strategies for large, complex problems. John’s current work is focussed on the application of behavioural science to help protect the Great Barrier Reef. In particular, John leads the design and delivery of Project Cane Changer – a large scale behaviour change project focussed on modifying the practices of sugar cane farmers to improve water quality running out to the reef. John’s scientific background is in psychology and the design of population level behaviour change programs.
