BETA is seeking expressions of interest for 3 new members of our Academic Advisory Panel (AAP) to start in February 2025.

Academic Advisory Panel

The Academic Advisory Panel provides expert advice on research methods and evaluation techniques to support BETA’s research projects.

Panel members are academic experts in a range of relevant fields including research design, economics, psychology and behavioural science. Our current members who will remain on the panel are: Professor Ben Newell, Professor Jolanda Jetten, Professor Michael J. Hiscox, Professor Kate Reynolds, Professor Nicholas Biddle and Professor Uwe Dulleck.

Who we’re looking for

We are seeking applications from academics with a background in economics, behavioural economics, statistics, trial design, psychology, social science, or design/systems thinking.

We particularly welcome applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and mid-career academics.

Members of the panel will be invited to attend 3 half-day meetings with BETA per year, engage with relevant BETA projects and provide expert advice. They will also provide occasional advice to PM&C’s executive leadership.
