Matthew is a PhD researcher at the Australian National University’s Centre for the Public Understanding of Science. He is researching misinformation during the current COVID-19 pandemic, focussing on misinformation sharing behaviour. Matthew has Masters degrees in communication from Deakin University and science communication from ANU and more than 20 years’ experience as a government communicator.
