Carissa is a Behavioural Scientist and Deputy Director of the Sydney Health Literacy Lab at the University of Sydney. She has led the research translation strategy for the group’s work on COVID-19, developed an Australian glossary for COVID-19 vaccination terms, and advised government decision makers on COVID-19 communication issues.
