Eva Koromilas
Eva is a Manager in the NSW Behavioural Insights Unit (BIU). She is qualified in behavioural economics and has extensive experience in applying behavioural insights to improve customer outcomes across multiple jurisdictions. Eva has led field experiments and program redesign in service and policy areas including Covid-safe behaviours, domestic violence, cyberbullying, drought resilience and regulatory compliance.
Alex Galassi
Alex Galassi is a Manager in the NSW Behavioural Insights Unit. She has driven projects to improve customer outcomes and create accessible services through the application of behavioural science. Alex has worked closely with agencies from across NSW Government in a range of policy areas to quantify, identify and reduce unnecessary frictions for customers. She holds qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and Psychology, and is passionate about shaping and delivering equitable services.
Katie Anderson-Kelly
Katie is an adviser in the Behavioural Economics Team of the Australian Government. Katie has worn many hats working in roles across the not-for-profit sector and government, with a focus on research, design, evaluation, and data communication. Katie holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Digital Media), a Graduate Diploma of Applied Data Analytics from the Australian National University (ANU), and a Master of Human Service (Childhood Studies) from Griffith University.
Laura Bennetts-Kneebone
Laura has worked at BETA since 2019. She is a project lead and data analyst, designing behavioural solutions to policy problems and testing them with randomised control trials (RCTs). She has worked on projects encouraging small businesses to improve their cyber security behaviours, designed a simulated gambling game to test activity statements, and experimented with energy bills. Prior to joining BETA, Laura spent ten years at Department of Social Services, working on Australia’s national longitudinal studies.
